Re: Adding items to end of track.. (Items keep jumping elsewhere)

Not sure if this will help but have you tried pinning all previous images together using "Edit link selections" ? First, highlight all the sections which are in their correct places. Then hit "shift+control+l" Now place the blue marker to where you want to drop the new image and make sure that you h...

Re: Mono Recording is Effed up

I had a similar experience and it turned out to be a conflict with the input sampling rate and the PC. Hit F11 and then devices and try the "record" settings. I have been using "Use device attributes" and "Quality (4400Hz / 2/ 32): maybe try a sample rate of 48000 Hz. The help file is worth a read a...

Re: Solfeggio frequencies

Open a new file and then go to the "Expression Evaluator" button on the main toolbar and then when you get the drop down menu there, click on "Waves". Go to "Sine" and in the "f" box put in the frequency you wish to generate. click OK and there you have it.

Re: Can Goldwave facilitate audio editing virtual choir recording?

Give Videomeld a try. You will not alter the original files and you will not need to register it until you have tried it out. It's not hard to get your head around and well worth the effort.

Re: Changing track height nixes volume settings

Been mixing audio tracks here too. You can hit "F7" and you will see a blue line appear on the audio track. (See "Add audio effects" in the help files). You can drag this line down with the mouse and you can click on the line to create marker points and drag the line down between the marker points. ...

Importing cuepoints

Another thought, would it be possible to import cuepoints from Goldwave audio files so that one can see them in Videomeld audio tracks?

Track height

Just wondering if it is possible to store different track heights in projects rather than having to reset each time a project is opened. Would be nice to be able to do this.

Re: Fading in a radio recording

You are right about being able to do in your video editor. I do the same thing with Videomeld because you cannot do it easily in Goldwave. Does not take much time to and does not destroy the originals either.

Re: does goldwave have the feature to compare 2 tracks ?

Try Videomeld, make two tracks (shift+insert) and put your first music in track 1 and the second in track 2. When you hit the "play" button, both tracks will play together. You can pan one track to the left and the other to the right (effects and pan), makes it much easier to hear what is happening....

Re: bug amplitude stats crashed the program when i select a tiny portion of audio

Just tried it here and it seems that anything less than 0.4 second goes wrong. I wonder if it is because there is not enough information for the tool to work on? Anyway enjoy the Xmas break and do not over-indulge🎶

Re: Bug: Zoom In/Out in Tabs View

Me too. I just tried this on three laptops now and the same thing again. Mouse wheel on three devices is a "Genius" and one laptop has a Microsoft wireless mobile mouse 1000. Desktop PC System is Win 10 pro. Processor Intel i52400 @3.1 Ghz. 8 gig Ram, 64 bit. It was all Ok up to the (I think) V6.40 ...

Me again, after checking my three machines, I just discovered that the scroll lock stops working only when you select "Tabs" in the "Windows Options Menu". Hope this is helpful to you all. Cheers.

Re: Bug Report: 6.43. Change theme, scroll zoom stops working.

More info. I had to reinstall Windows on one of my laptops and when I re-installed Goldwave, the mousewheel scroll function worked. I changed the theme to the one I prefer, and the scroll still worked. Next, went to " Windows options " and checked "Sound windows tabs", "Always confirm before saving"...
