Hit "F11" and in "Conntrol properties" select the "record option" and on the right hand side of this window under "delayed recording" check the "level activated" box and the "time stamp" box. Also check the "record mode" box and s...

Adding captions to the text box
In V1.73, when the caption text box is opened, there are no numbers visible in in the text size, width, top, left, right, bottom, spacing, section, caption and preview windows. You can enter numbers but that's a little annoying. Was all OK in V1.72

Re: Creating Loop in wav sample
Make sure that you have the "Snap to zero crossing" box checked. Go to the "edit" drop down menu and click on the "Selection" link near the bottom and you will see the "Snap to zero crossing" option. Check this box and that should fix things.

Re: Creating Loop in wav sample
AussieTom's method is the way to go! Something else to try here, is to use the two bracket keys to highlight the section you want to copy and paste like AussieTom says rather than inserting cue points. When you are playing the track and come to the start of the section you want to copy, hit the left...

Re: Recording over silence gives severe distortion
If your recordings sound like a constipated elephant, it would be a good idea to make sure that the sample rates on all your devices are all the same. I had trouble like this until I set everything at 48,000 and now everything works OK. Just thinking that you need to need to match the new record spe...

Re: Mono Half Wave Mode View
Yes you can. If you look at the left hand side of the sound window you can see a small box to the left of each channel with a tick in it. Click to turn a channel off and you can then edit the other track. You can expand the track height or the width with the mouse wheel. Go the "Options" d...

Re: "Real time" timeline in playback
I had to do the same thing a few years ago. I opened a new file to record to and then hit "F11" to get to "Control properties". Click on the "Record" button and click on "Level activated" and just below that tick "Time stamp cues". Close the window a...

This is a small bug in the program. Chris will fix it soon in the next version. You can then remove it by going to the drop down menu and select "Options". Go to the "Windows" section and Under "Miscellaneous", list and look for "Hide drag and drop selection icons&...

Re: Feature Request: Smart Insert/Cut of intervals with auto-align rhyhtm beat
I posted this reply a little while ago and I repeat it here. Take a little time to read how to set it up before you start. The manual is tells you how. In Videomeld you can cut, copy and paste the tracks without damaging the original. Good idea to make copies anyway while you are trying it out. Vide...

No problem here, I can drag and drop video and audio files just the same as before. I like the bitrate warning addition though.
