I also have this problem. I have tried a DivX avi I encoded a few days ago with DrDivX, which plays fine in WMP10. I am (as far as I know) running the latest official DivX codecs and DirectX. I tried deselecting Show Contents, with no results. Not sure where to get hold of the stack dump as the drwt...
