Re: Newbie ?? - can you select for an effect using the mouse?
Thanks. I'm still hazy on the VAR -- I'll dig into that. Much appreciated.

Newbie ?? - can you select for an effect using the mouse?
Coming to VM from Camtasia. Camtasia has little handles at the cursor where you can interactively select a video segment by dragging the handle. Is there a similar interactive way to select a duration of an effect? I have material that will require a lot of pan/zoom. It looks as though I have to eit...

Re: MULTIQUENCE discontinued
A free 3 year license was e-mailed to everyone that purchased a MULTIQUENCE license in the past three years. If you've purchased after 2010-01-01 and haven't received your license, please contact me . Unfortunately there isn't an upgrade path for older licenses. Chris No, sad to say, I was an early...

'System not fast enough...' question
While my system is not super-fast, it has dual 2 GHz Xeon processors and 2 GB of memory with fast SCSI drives... so I was surprised that I couldn't play back an intro / splash video. It works if I turn off the audio. It works if I turn off the video, but it won't handle both together. There are a 3,...

Re: A couple of feature requests
Thanks, Chris. My bad - I didn't see the ctrl-mouse to create a selection box, and it's right there on the Getting Started portion of the help file. Knowing the ctrl-marker-drag will be a big help. A wrinkle on the set marker: maybe enable a keystroke to set a cue point... then enable us to Tab our ...

Re: A couple of feature requests
Obviously, this won't work for video or audio sections... not without some seriously intensive calculations... (2) Select all sections to end of project. Oops  I seem to have missed some fine features, which I've now found by scouring the help file... We already have the ability to change the...

A couple of feature requests
MQ is excellent for rapid building and mixing videos, especially for video tutorials. Thanks for putting the effort into it. A couple of things I could really use: (1) Click-and-drag track element length adjust. Why: (scenario) I add an audio section to Track 2. It's longer than the Image section th...

DirectX error 80004004
In trying to save a project as DIVX, I get the following: "DirectX erorr [80004004\ while processing video. Save aborted. Try using a different video format or setting." What other formats or setting should I use? I'd like save it as DIVX video -- just installed the trial DIVX creating sof...

QT authoring seems to have disappeared
Since July, QT appears to have changed -- now there seems to be no separate download for authoring that I can find on Apple's site. There certainly was last July. Chris hopefully will jump in on this one... Meanwhile, Multiquence (I think) reaches out to various players and tools on your computer --...

Never mind
Apparently I had not loaded "Quicktime authoring" - sheesh... for a company with software for those who cannot think, Apple has weird and puzzling processes and addons with QT for Windows.
Anyway, audio now comes in as a separate track, which I assume is the right thing.

Quicktime (MOV) file - no sound?
Multiquence v2.53 I can load the video portion of a Quicktime .MOV into Multiquence, but the audio doesn't come with it. (I can also split it and do other editing). Video was generated by my Kodak digital camera - Kodak's specs indicate it is Quicktime CODEC MPEG4. Windows right-click Properties - n...
