i played around a bit with it and noticed how you could adjust it on the slider bars as well, so you could, by using ur ear, get a pitch that WOULD work, if you dont know it scientifically, which i dont!

oh im into playing around. There's nothing like it and finding something that works out. Im not sure if when i use c to d that it makes the recording automatically in the key of c, then changes it to d or how it works actually. The effect 'works', but i dont know if its what i want. i agree on the 5...

I thought that might be the way..but how far do you go with pitch?
that's the trick..
if i just use the c to d or whatever, it doesnt work..is there a manual setting and i should just make a slight adjustment?

also, it should be perfectly synched or slightly,slightly off?

is there a plug0in for chorus effect?
this would be sweet..
sometimes a singer can get ' pitchy' and a touch of chorus can help that...

i tried the radio shack way and it's terrible for me...
i have to go read what you found.
It's just weird the way it records.

My laptop is the highend state of the art dell media version..it has a great sound card.

SO ive selected the "stereo mix" option under record, set the level to 100, unbounded, etc..Still, the elvel of the person on the phone is terrible and when i boost it, there's so much noise, its unusable and filtering just sounds worse. What am i missing? i use a usb headset and i can hea...

does the INVERT command switch the low level sounds with the high level sounds? For example, if my voice was very loud and the other person i recorded was very lowlevels and i use invert, would it boost theirs and decrease mine dramatically?

when i recorded in skype, i could hear the other party fine and myself in the headphones. When i went back to the file, their sound was so low, i couldnt even tell they were talking.. So, what did i miss? I simply opened a "new" window and then placed the call and hit record..i could see t...

why cant you copy the file to another window, then mix it back into the opposite channel? then you have one in the right and one in the left.
isnt that stereo?
