Re: recording computer clock with audio signal?
"Another device" is ambiguous. Do you mean another audio device or sound card running on the same computer, or another device which makes its own recording, such as an external recorder?

Re: Feature Request: Stereo Widening
I recorded an orchestra with a Sony ECM-MS957 mid-side mic. The mic performed quite nicely but I later decided that the stereo image could use a little more separation, so I "widened" the stereo image using the following settings in the Channel Mixer: -- LEFT CHANNEL -- Left volume: 100% R...

Re: is wasapi event-style available in goldwave v.5.65?
The biggest obstacle with WASAPI right now is defective and poorly tested sound drivers from manufacturers. I think I'll wait until manufacturers get the basic functionality right first. Chris If hardware device drivers are an obstacle, may I suggest using Virtual Audio Cable as a virtual device? I...

Feature Request: RF64
Any possibility that Goldwave could support RF64, the extended wav file format?

Re: GoldWave Version 5.65
Cursory testing shows WASAPI shared mode to be more stable than exclusive mode.

Re: GoldWave Version 5.65
I have reverted to the previous, non-beta driver for the 0404 USB and have removed something called Microsoft Security Essentials. Control Panel -> Sound shows meter deflection for this device. Starting Goldwave in the DirectSound mode works OK. Switching from DirectSound to WASAPI changes the recor...

Re: GoldWave Version 5.65
Problem #1 definitely occurred before the beta driver was installed. I can revert to the old driver and see if it helps.

Re: GoldWave Version 5.65
1. Program intermittently crashes after splash screen is finished animating.
2. Starting Goldwave kills audio from USB interface (EMU 0404 USB). Audio works OK before starting Goldwave, according to Windows 7 sound control panel.
3. Program crashed when trying to make a recording.

Re: GoldWave v5.64 Beta
The device of interest here is Virtual Audio Cable, but the problem exists with an actual hardware interface as well. Goldwave records for a fraction of a second then quits. There is no warning or message box. The problem occurs at sampling rates of both 44100 and 48000 Hz. There is no problem recor...

Re: GoldWave v5.64 Beta
The interface (EMU 0404 USB) most definitely supports a 44100 Hz sampling rate. This is the sampling rate specified when a new recording is initiated with GoldWave.

Re: GoldWave v5.64 Beta
Program does not go into record mode when WASAPI selected and device is in exclusive mode. This is on a laptop with a USB interface. Also, Control Properties -> Record -> Monitor Input becomes unchecked so input is not monitored.

Re: GoldWave v5.63 Beta
Using an M-Audio USB Fast Track Ultra as the record device, I am unable to get GoldWave to start recording when the device is in Exclusive mode. Setting the device to Shared mode alleviates the problem; setting it back to Exclusive mode makes the problem occur again. No other audio applications are ...

Where's the Plug-In
I downloaded and installed the DirectX version of ANWIDA DX Reverb Light. Where is it? It doesn't show up in any menus or anything. What else do I have to do?

Feature Request
A small feature request:
It would be nice if the fast forward button toggled between FF and normal speed. Click once and you're in FF. Click again and you're at normal speed.
Thank you.
