APE files with GW 6.xx
The Goldwave Ape plug-in 64 bit has not been released yet. And most of my audio files are in APE format !
I wrote to Monkey Audio to find about on their side, without any answer of course;
Has anybody in this forum some information ? Thanks

Re: Noise Reduction
May I suggest you try Brian Davies' Denoise (http://www.clickrepair.net/software_info/denoise.html) ?
Very easy to use, very efficient, no artefacts; I have been using it for years now, and I won't change!

Re: Cue list: a little bug in GW 68 ?
Thanks to all the readers of the previous post; as there is no reply, I am sorry, but I may not have been clear enough: On the first line of the .cue file issued by GW 5.68, the software gives a wrong extension to the name of the sound file (.cue instead of .wav); it is not possible to use the cue l...

Cue list: a little bug in GW 68 ?
Hi!
A little problem here:
When saving a cue file, GW 5.68 states
FILE "F:\Lps\Side 1.cue" WAVE
instead of
FILE "F:\Lps\Side 1.wav" WAVE
After reinstalling GW 5.67, the file name extension was correct.
Thanks

Re: GoldWave v5.62 Beta
Goldwawe setup window. When trying to restore/backup the settings, the GW windows stays on top of the Windows save-to window, even after giving the focus to the Windows one; it is then necessary to move the windows to have access to the directories. (Hard to speak of windows with Windows :); I hope ...

Re: Goldwave 5.60 Beta Thread
Thanks, DougDbug.
You are right, this seems to be a Windows 7 issue, not a GW one.

Re: Goldwave 5.60 Beta Thread
Hi, everybody! As with previous versions of GW, I cannot record, or if I can through the Line input, I cannot monitor the sound. I am running Windows 7. My Sound card is a Creative XFi XTreme Audio. In the volume tab, there is no "What you hear" option; only SPDIF (Sound Blaster). Any clue...

Cue Sheets
According to various sources one of them being Wikipedia , there could be a standard in the cue sheets formatting. EAC and Goldwave have not exactly the same pattern. As far as GW is concerned, these lines do not exist: on top: "TITLE", "PERFORMER " below each track: "PERFOR...

Re: 64 bit windows 7
I am using Vista 64 bits with GW 5.53 first and now 5.55, and I haven't got any problem. May be you should update your GW ? Are you sure you have all the Windows 7 codecs ?

Re: Not recording (Vista)
After trying every possible thing as advised in this forum without any success, I was becoming mad , and before being too dangerous for my family, I bought Total Recorder, which solved happily the problem. Thank you DougDbug
