Re: WavPack Support?
You might try installing GoldWave v5.70, which should be able to use the older WavPack DirectShow decoder. You can then Batch Process a bunch of files to convert them to something GoldWave v6 can use.

Re: Mobile & Desktop license/licence terms
A GoldWave license works in all versions of GoldWave (Windows, Android, and iOS). Note that there is a minor problem with the Android version that still shows the number of saves remaining, but the licensed version still has an unlimited number of saves.

Make sure the Auto Scroll Lock or Follow Playback option is checked on the View menu. That is needed to move the playback marker with the keyboard.

Re: WavPack Support?
Sorry, there are no plans to support WavPack directly. Audio isn't actually recorded in floating point format (24 bit PCM is usually the max), so there isn't any real benefit saving in that format.

Re: can a keystroke increase/decrease playback speed and move left/right more precisely?
1) You can use Options | Keyboard to set the keys for the ControlSpeedUp and ControlSpeedDown functions. 2) The amount the left and right markers are moved depends on the current zoom. If you use View | 10 Seconds then the markers are moved in 0.1 second increments. Also you can use Shift+Up for mor...

Re: Malwarebytes
Unfortunately false positives are a frustrating problem. GoldWave software is clean and safe.
There should be a legal requirement for anti-virus companies to contact software vendors before making such damaging false claims, especially for software that is digitally signed by the vendor.

Re: Noise reduction issues
If some of the files are 8 bit files, that would explain the problem. 8 bit files are inherently noisy. You'd need to use Save As to save as 16 bit to preserve the improved quality.

We are working on a problem with getting VST presets in the new GWVST plug-in in GoldWave.

Re: How to automatically record
Recording a voice call or video call can be tricky because the voice/video software is using the same audio hardware to record as GoldWave. If you enable the "Listen" setting on the microphone device ( click here for details ), then you should be able to use the LOOPBACK device in GoldWave...

Re: GoldWave and Android
Files are stored in the Home folder within the app. You can use File | Export or use File | Open and choose ... on the file you want to export to save it outside of the app.

Re: Newbie ?? - can you select for an effect using the mouse?
Have you tried using the VAR button for the effect settings? That allows you to vary the effect setting over time. You can also drag the green and red vertical bars in the "Effect range" box to confine the effect to a certain time.

Re: can Gold Wave on IOS expose microphone settings for recording?
We'll look into that in a future update. iOS provides very limited and complicated controls for the microphone (though maybe that has changed with recent updates to iOS).

Re: Revisiting the Auto-Cue Limit of 500
I'll look into that. It may just be an arbitrary limit rather than technical.
