Chris,
As a sales tool, will GoldWave Inc. join Linkedin where all professionals meet online? It will be a perfect place for Goldwave to shine and prosper. I tried to search for GoldWave Inc., to my disappointment, it is nowhere to be found!
Just my 2 cents,
cdeamaze

Windows 8: GoldWave seems to be working fine
Great Gord,
I did not expect someone trying Windows 8 so soon. Thanks for sharing your experience. It is nice to know which one works and which ones don't.

Re: How is downsampling done when recording new wave?
Downsampling from 44.1K samples/sec to 1K samples/sec For postprocessing, here is one way to do it: (1) zero stuffing Insert 9 zeros between samples to get sampling rate of 441K samples/sec (2) lowpass filtering to 500Hz (anti-aliasing filter) (3) For every 441 samples: pick 441th sample and throw 4...

Re: cannot get batch processing to work
Just rename your file to soound.txt from soundlist.txt then your month-long nightmare will be over. so, is there an alternative to using batch files on windows? if i call those separately line by line, then it works, so i assume the syntax is correct. it just results in starting and closing goldwave...

Re: cannot get batch processing to work
to me it seems that goldwave has a problem with reading the contents of the textfile that is holding all the lines with the commands. This is not a fault by GoldWave. You should, however, log your complaint to Microsoft :D. Anyone, who chose to use batch processing with a batch file, has to follow ...

Re: cannot get batch processing to work
Hello ehmdjii, as I stated before, I also used a batch file (run without any user interaction) and it works flawlessly. There are 2 kinds of batch processing:partially automatic(run with some user interaction) and fully automatic(run without any user interaction). The former requires user interface ...
