Re: cues shifting when sample rate changes on split
The DVDs are coming out with a stereo audio track ... I don't know if that would still be AC3 format (I thought AC3 is always 6-track). I'm guessing that it's his video editing software, OR the only sample rate that his video camera records with (and he mixes his video camera audio with my board rec...

Re: cues shifting when sample rate changes on split
Okay -- I can try that. I always save the cue files separately, but I split right after I created the cues, not after reloading cues from a cue file. If you say that will make the differences between the cues being based on sample count vs time, then that's worth a try. But it might make sense for t...

cues shifting when sample rate changes on split
I have a 24-bit PCM WAV file with 48k sample rates. When I mark it with cues and then export to "CD quality" format (44.1k sample rate), the cues get shifted - maybe by a ratio of 48/44.1 -- and my resulting split files are off. If I save the file in a 44.1k format first, then mark the cue...

good reverb plug-in?
Can anyone point me to a good room or hall reverb plug-in? The stock reverb in v5.20 has a tinny after-effect that just isn't cutting it for me.

Removing pops from old records
I recorded an old LP from the 50's -- had lots of scratches and pops on it. The pop/click tool in Goldwave seems to do an okay job at reducing these ... was wondering if anyone out there knows of better ways to deal with this.
Thanks. John

I have audio cards (M-Audio Rev 5.1 and Rev 7.1) that have built-in surround algorithms. However I want to mix surround and non-surround tracks in the theater. So I could install two cards, set one to surround emulation mode and the other not ... but that will prevent me from using those 6 surround ...

Converting stereo files to multi-channel 5.1 surround WMA?
I'm using a sound cue playback system that can play 5.1 OGG or WMA format through the BASS audio driver ... however pretty much all of the program material I start with is in stereo only. I'd like to find a converter to generat 5.1 surround files from stereo -- my initial search on the internet didn...

Ripping DVD Audio (DVD-A) formats?
Hi, I am a very happy user of the Goldwave but now need to pull music tracks off of a DVD audio disk. The music is being delivered in DVD-A format and I need to convert it to MP3 for use on our playback machine. Does Goldwave already have this functionality hidden somewhere that I'm not finding? If ...
