Re: Macro to roll audio up at beginning and down at end?

YES! That is precisely the effect I needed! Guess I should spend more time reading the manual! Thank you very much!

Re: Macro to roll audio up at beginning and down at end?

OK thank you! Yes, I had an "automaton" in mind which would would split a master track of multiple cuts into individual files...no problem there using "Q" points. The problem is that each track split out from the master begins and ends with no less than 4 seconds of full-level ap...

Macro to roll audio up at beginning and down at end?

If I wish to use a macro to roll audio up from zero to 6 seconds in at the beginning of a music track and begin rolling audio down to zero 6 seconds prior to the end of a track, I cannot seem to find a process that will work for me. What obvious choice am I missing?

Ripping to mp3 files

I've just updated from version 5.23 to version 5.52, and have noticed that when I use the CD Tool in Goldwave to rip a CD, I have WAV files saved on the drive instead of the MP3 files I used to have. I assume there is a way to rip to mp3 with Goldwave. If that assumption is correct, I need a nudge i...

I have a bunch of LPs that I'm in the process of digitizing. Goldwave really does a very nice job of removing or minimizing all but the worst pops and clicks from an LP. I use a tolerance of 4000 on the pop/click filter and then use the "very light hiss/rumble removal" clickable selection ...
