Duplicate entries in Add/Remove Programs after upgrading
Hi
I recently ran the 2.54 installer to upgrade my registered 2.53 version.
This has left a redundant 2.53 entry in the Add/Remove Programs list.
How do I remove that without tampering with my 2.54 installation?
Thanks

How can I edit DVD video?
Hi A musician friend has made a DVD of one of his recent concerts and I'd like to edit the (rather amateurish) footage using Multiquence. What do I need to do to be able to import DVD video? It's a home-made DVD from a digital camcorder so it's not encrypted or anything like that. Is there some tool...

Re: What video format does Multiquence 'prefer' to work with
Cards that do internal encoding tend to do internal decoding as well Really? I didn't know that. I was actually looking at an external capture device (USB or PCMCIA) as it will be used with a laptop. Given that such a device is removable/hotpluggable, I would presume it wouldn't encode anything in ...

Re: What video format does Multiquence 'prefer' to work with
Thanks for your replies. Just for clarification: Cards that supports MPEG2 decoding internally are not recommended since it may not be possible for Multiquence to retrieve the decoded frames for editing. I take it you you are talking about graphics cards which support internal DECODING? I think I'm ...

What video format does Multiquence 'prefer' to work with?
I'm thinking of buying a video capture device with the intention of using Multiquence to play around with the captured video. Just wondering which video file format Multiquence would ideally like to work with from scratch with respect to the final quality of its output. I suppose it would be the RGB...

There are two methods I can suggest: Method 1 -------- Move the marker to the beginning of the portion you want to cut (by dragging it or by using the Set Marker command). Use the 'Split' command to split the section in two. Then move the the marker to the end of the portion you want to cut (somewhe...

Re: Merging sections/projects, copying/undoing faders
There is no way to join split sections back together later. You'd need to delete the sections and add the original file again. Alternatively you can just delete the second section then double-click on the first and extend the End time by the duration of the deleted second section. Unfortunately thi...
