Thanks, but that's two steps. And requires start %age adjustment to be made in two places.

Suggestion: Greater range for Shape Volume

200% is a rather small upper range. Larger would be nice. Perhaps logarithmic would help.

Great. It doesn't reduce the number of steps in this case, but it is good to know for the future. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. > if you shaped it to go from 200% to 100% and ran the effect twice, > your net effect would be what you want. That's the multi-effect preset I am trying to simplify. :) Particularly because I want the start %age to be easily adjustable. > You could also double the volume...

Graduated volume change

Is there a /single/ effect that will set the selection volume to 400% at the start linearly grading to 100% at the end?

(I am trying to simplify a multi-effect preset.)

Thanks.

I don't believe the CL will add a directory. ... you'll need to create your directory first... Thanks, but my directories are already created. What GUI "Add folder... with [X] Include all subfolders" does is cause the BP source list to include the sub-folders of the folder specified. That...

Re: CL BP - problems

Whoops, the cause was \process not /process.

Suggestion to Devs: make unrecognised input cause an error.

I'm still though stuck on:

"how on the CL do I specify a folder that on the GIU I would specify in Add folder... with [X] Include all subfolders?"

CL BP - problems

Trying CL batch processing for the first time, I find "C:\Program Files\GoldWave\GoldWave.exe" "\process:TDJ export 7 Curtains -4" "S:\!DJ DAP\2 Curtains Base\02480002928225\1\*.wav" opens a GW window, loads one WAV file... and does no more. What am I doing wrong? Also,...

Re: One file converted to many

Aw, shame. Thanks. Can anyone suggest a workaround for since this overnight job with no operator in attendance? I tried dozens of scripts each run in a separate GW window, but they fail with 'Cannot open file' errors, presumably due to conflight on the source files. There is isufficient storage spac...

I thought FLAC file type did not provide any fields - any particular file can hold fields named anything.

One file converted to many

For each file in a large set, I need versions with different lengths and volumes. Anyone know how I can arrange this witha single Batch Processing script? So far I've got each BP script to produce only one output file per input file.

Thanks.

FLAC tags documentation

Can anyone direct me to documentation of GW's support for FLAC tags? Searching the Help for FLAC finds nothing, and the manual does not mention FLAC tag support either. It does say Note that information is saved only in some file formats, such as .wav, .wma, .aiff, .xac, .ogg, and ID3v2 .mp3 files. ...
