Bug In Batch Process v. 5.63
I think I have found a bug in batch processin in the beta version. I had some MONO wav files and they all needed to be reduced to 18DB as they had been recorded too loud. I started doing it by hand on each file using the 18DB preset in the Match Option I decided to run a batch instead so I set up a ...

Thanks - I just removed it.DewDude420 wrote:Coriolanus:
You REALLY should remove the note about what files you're converting and with what. Those two words, put together, will get Chris sued for DMCA violations as that particular company is REALLY looking for stuff.

Re: Large Wave Files
OK I understand the header issue. What I was doing was converting audio to WAV with audio converter program. Suddenly a few of those WAV files were larger than 4GB. What I ended up doing was coverting them to MP3 files and then I had to split the MP3 file if I used 128 bit for the conversion - -- no...

Large Wave Files
I know Goldwave cannot open a file larger than 4GB - I have fil that is 5.2 GB so I split it in half with SLICE into equal parts. But still Goldwave cannot open it - what could be the problem after splitting the file? Is there a program that can slice large wave files into sizes Goldwave can handle?...

Re: Font Size on Toolbar - WIN 7
I am running 1080p. 1920x1080
I notice the tiny size on the Effects tool bar - it is smaller than either of the other two tool bars which are fine. It is the effects tool bar whch should be made to be the same size as the other two toolbars.

Re: Phase Correction
Effect -> Stereo -> Channel Mixer has a preset to copy the right-channel data into both channels. (I don't know what "phase correction" is, but I'm going to look it up.) Phase correction seems to be a fancy way of synchronizing channels - I had a problem once in a Goldwave where the recor...

Re: Mono Origianl vs Stereo CD
Well the recording off the original mono cassettes sound better in Mono than in stereo. I converted the original tapes to stereo with Goldwave and the sound was not good - sort of muffled in sports etc. I went back to the tapes ( which were coverted to Wave from MP3) and kept them as mono. I figured...

Phase Correction

I ended up using the automatic Phase correction from Audition to copy the right channel to the left channel - Is there any way to do phase correct...

Mono Origianl vs Stereo CD
OK I have a cassete recording of an old audiobook in which the original is mono. I plan to move it to CD - 1, Should I convert it to stereo first. 2. Should I convert it to stero when split using the autocues 3. Should I keep is in mono. Which will give me the best sound. The sound is not that great...

Re: Goldwave & Sound Volume during Recording
Ok I got the images to show - hope that will explain things better. I am recording spoken voice (audio books) -- they are from the same audio book and the same place in the recording of the book. File2 I recorded from the original cassette -- after maximizing and saving it and then doing playback on...

Re: Goldwave & Sound Volume during Recording
Ok basically what I want is to record at the same level/volume I listen to the cassette at. I can;t seem to get this right with Goldwave. I records at a level with no clipping but then when I play back that recording it is at a very low volume from what I listen to it at. And the Waveform does not g...
