Re: Problem overwriting Files.
I have two file - One is long 5+ hours and a short one 20-40Minutes (left over from splitting a large file by auto-spacing. I open my two file - and do a copy of the short file and paste it into the beginning of the large file . I then close the small file. Using auto-spacing I want to split the lar...

Problem overwriting Files.
Goldwave has a problem overwriting files. I work with Audio file and in trying to creaete a CD length file I often have to copy one file to the beginning of another before I split them. When I have a copied file at the beginning of another the program will NOT let me overwite a file of the same Name...

Re: Smoothing Time Warp over a file
Thanks for your answer. I have already used Time Warp on the file -- I want something to smooth the whole file so that the Time Warp changes are not so noticeable. I don't want to redo the file just smooth our the changes. I tired to make as small changes as possible with each piece of time warp but...

Smoothing Time Warp over a file
I had a file(audio only) where over the length of the file the voice started out high pitched and was normal by the end of the file. As I had other files with the same voice I knew what the voice should sound like. Using time warp I corrected the file but had to change the time warp settings in vari...

Access Violation stoping recording
I have been doing some recording and occasionally I will start a recording, end it, start a new etc. leaving all the windows up. If I decided to do a CLOSE ALL I get an access violation which fans across the screeen and the only way I can stop Goldwave is to bring up Task Manager and end it from the...

Re: Cue Files not Splitting correctly.
Well, I downloaded V 5.58 this morning to see what would happen, and it did create all 61 files. Is this problem then a "feature" and not a bug in the newest version? I never had this problem under 5.58 - only the new version. I haven't had it recently, but somehow I am not confident abou...

Unable to even out Sound Levels
I have an MP3 Audio File. It is Mono. The volume of the sound goes from normal to too soft ( almost a whisper in normal narrative). If I use Maximize - I sill thave an uneven volume with voice that should be of the same level being too soft. although the soft parts are louder due to maximize, but th...

Re: Cue Files not Splitting correctly.
I haven't been able to duplicate the problem yet, but let me know if the problem still occurs in the next update. Chris FWIW - the files are audio files and were MONO. The odd thing is that it worked when I first installed the beta and then stopped working - I am not sure what changed or if there w...

Re: Batch For adding Cue Point
Alas making one big file is impossible as that would put the file size over the 4MB limit

Cue Files not Splitting correctly.
I have just run into an odd problem with cue files never happened before. I have a file marked with cue point -- about 15 cue points. I do a split file and it stops processing a cue point #6. I don't understand why - it has never happened before. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening.? Usi...

Batch For adding Cue Point
Is there any way to do batch processin of adding cue points to detect silence? I have all the parameters set up that I want to use - and I want to process 14 files in a batch without having to do each one individually. I know that I have to make minor corrects afterwards but I want to do Batch procs...

Re: Bug In Batch Process v. 5.63
Destination folder was the same as the orgin . I wanted the files overwritten. They were in their own folder and were the only files in that folder. I did the conversion in a separate step that was already complete at the time I ran this. I have never had much luck runing 2 processes in the same bat...
