I cannot see how. Clipping protection was added to Match volume - it just hasn't yet been added to Change Volume.

Not here (V5.24).

That sets the absolute value. There's no option to set a specified amount of increase.

I have N source files each of which I need in M different volumes. Is there any way of making these NxM output files in one batch process? Else less than M?

Change volume without clipping

I need to increase the volume in Batch Processing except if it would cause clipping. How may I do this?


I see no Change Voume ( ) Reduce average level to avoid clipping or ( )
Abort processing if clipping is required.

It would be good if we could find out what particular operation causes this. since my report above, I have had no recurrence, and have used only WAV, MP3 adn WMA, not FLAC.
