I had the same when I put my computer in service (I use only the LINE input, but it is the same problem, I think): I solved it by setting the input volume to the maximum and adapting the source output instead of the Line input.

Re: My wish for an image save function.

...If you have the video preview window detached, you can use Alt+Print Screen key to capture the image, then paste it in Photoshop... The result is that the video is rendered as video in Paint Shop Pro at the same place than the preview window, and if I try to save the file, it saves a black recta...

I noticed that in Winamp, it was impossible to create other tags, so that's not a Goldwave problem, it might be the format.

MaxMatch is the button with a « knob » draw, a « = » sign and a « ! » mark. When you click on this button, Goldwave normalizes the same average volume on left and right channels, and the highest peak will be exactly at 0 dB.

Mic the inside out with a 0.02 delay will cancel harmonics on one side and boost them on the other side, with a 50 Hz step on all the range. It is close to what I'm doing for mono-to-pseudostereo conversion, the only thing is to choose a level not low enough to get effect, and not loud too much beca...

"Inside out" inverts the signal of the right channel. If you haven't selected the "stereo" option in the delay, both channels neutralize themselve in the effect.

Time Warp calculation

When I enter a %value in the Time Warp and see what length it will get, the calculation is in the wrong direction. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o137/merou20j1/gw/timewarp2008-0302-015741.gif The indicated length was longer than the original, but the result is an acceleration. When I entered th...

For the following operations, better work on a copy rather than on the unprocessed original, in the case where the result wouldn't be a success... You can try to reduce the background noise with the noise filter in a first place. For that, select a short part of the file in blue with the mouse, and ...

A chorus can be obtained by copying the part to chorus, paste new, slight pitch (1% or less) preserve tempo, and mix the result to the original. For a stereo chorus, you can apply either a slightly different pitch on left and right channel (movement) or invert one channel (deepness).

First step, try the pop/click if ever it reduces the static, but that is not sure on this kind of source. To get a sound less robotic, try various fft sizes and overlap combination, and reduce eventually the scale in the denoiser. In compressor/expander, you should try, over your denoised sound, the...
