I use also Depopper to process such recordings, and there is a function of center extraction. The main effect of this feature is noticeable with distorsions, rather than with noise. To enlarge the channel separation (left=80l%eft+20%right and vice-versa) can also help, and to re-equalize to your tas...

Do two copies of the 40 second file without EQ (CTRL+C ; CTRL+P). On one of them apply the parametric EQ (the other ones generate a phase difference). Apply a fade in effect on the non-EQ file from the start until the point where the sound must be natural. Apply a fade out effect on the EQ file on t...

To emulate a groove skip, you can draw the scratch with the mouse at the place where it skips, something like that (screenshot example) , or even do it without to do a skip, to get only the noise of the scratch.

New update about the cause of the problem. When Animation Shop generates an effect at 30 fps, frames have a timing of 0.03 seconds and some of them 0.04 second. If I give the same timing for all frames, the shake doesn't occur in uncompressed AVI. Also, in X-vid mpeg-4 compression, there are some jp...

This problem influnced my work, now my titling has also an underwater movement, to make the twitching (thanks, I really didn't know how to name that in English) less visible. It looks more artistic now. 8) Having again this problem (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't), I renamed the RGB uncompr...

Not sure about what you are trying to do, but from what I understand, you could create a green image, where a zone is of a pre-defined color for transparency, and you save this video file. Then, in a new project you put the file to crop on the first track and the file just created on the second trac...

I have tried to change the value speed 4.5 instead of 4.536, and I have still the same tug. I have put the original avi file, the mqp project and my resulting wmv in a zip file of 45 Mo (shrinked ten times  ) but I have absolutely no idea on how to transmit that. P2P sites aren't allowed, and...

Well... I downloaded your file. It is is NOT digitally clipped... (...) And, the waves do not appear to be flat-topped. (...)This is surprising to me, because it does sound way overloaded & clipped. And, during the loud bass parts, it does sound like the other sound-details are "lost"...

The bandpass filter helps to get more voice and less birds http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/2103/20070912233414md9.gif because most of the noise is concentrated on the 2800-5900 Hz range, and some additional process allow to improve significantly intelligibility by reducing also the bass range to ...

It's easy. :)

When one pixel of the screen represents in width more than one sample, the envelope is solid.
When one pixel of the screen represents in width one sample or less, the waveform is a line.
