Help!
I have just upgraded to Goldwave Version 5.07 (on a new install of Windows 2000 Professional) and find that I cannot now open some MP3 files. The error message is (in one case) "C++ exception" and in other cases "Could not read audio data".
Some MP3 files open OK, some do not. All play OK with Windows Media Player 9, and all files could be opened using Goldwave 4.26 and Windows Me.
I have installed Razor Lame 1.1.5 on this system - are there some additional codecs I need to find and install as well?

Re: Problems with V5.07 and (some) MP3 files
The problem files may contain corrupted data or have some ID3 tag information in the middle of them. Re-encoding the files in v4 to remove any corrupted data may be the only way to avoid the error in v5.
