Windows 2000 Recording permissions
Windows 2000 Recording permissions
When I try to record a track from a CD I get an error message saying that I need Administrator privileges in order to do this. Unfortunately this is a school environment and the students cannot have admin privilege to each machine. Any ideas?

GoldWave v5.07 solves that problem.

As I have experienced, SPTI is working as non-admin and ASPI is not, is that the way it should be under Win XP?
I was thinking that SPTI always required administrator privileges for low-level hardware access.
Could you give me a hint on how this restriction can be disabled? I am trying to have my own program read Audio-CDs in a guest account as well.
Thank you very much!
