Does anyone know where to get the .amr plug-in for Goldwave?
Either .wav to .amr or .mp3 to .amr will do.
(P.S. .amr is a cell phone format, because while most cell phones can play .mp3s, not all cell phones allow .mp3s to be assinged as ringtones, only .amr seems to be the universal format)
.amr format
- NOTE - I've never used an AMR file.
These are not GoldWave plug-ins, but a quick search of free-codecs.com found Mobile AMR Converter and Mobile Media Converter along with some other possibilities.
I sometimes use SUPER, which is a FREE universal audio/video converter program. It has an AMR output option, but I've never tried that option.
If none of these work, an Internet search for "WAV to AMR" or "MP3 to AMR" should turn-up something useful.
