final audio mastering

Hello, I have finished some of my own music productions recorded (24 bit 48 kHZ that's was the maximum what the sound card m-audio fasttrack pro) allowed . My question is what do you think is the best way to prepare those recordings for cd as a demo because I plan to export them for some use.
I used waves l3 ultramaximizer hirescd for maximizing waves q8 as equalizer and IDR for dither before scaling to cd version. What else should I apply on (raw) material except those three before saving 'cd version'?
Any advice is appreciated.
