There is a delay of some time at GoldWave5.06 starting.
The old version(as V4.25) no this phenomena.

GoldWave v5 supports a number of different plug-ins. When you run the program, some extra time is required to check for, load, and configure the plug-ins and menus. You can use the Start | Programs | GoldWave | GoldWave Setup command to disable plug-ins.
