Access violation using Goldwave
Access violation using Goldwave
This is my first post, so be gentle. I'm using Goldwave version 5.58 with Vista Home Premium. When I try to use "Close All" for multiple open files and select the 'No' option to save, Goldwave crashes and returns repeated windows showing "Access violation at address 004CDB6 in module 'Goldwave.exe'. Read of address 000002FB". Can anybody explain why this happens? The first address seems to change each time it crashes.

FYI - You can use the Web E-Mail Form to contact Chris (GoldWave's developer) directly.
I had a problem something like that, but it was only happening on one computer that I don't use with GoldWave that much, and was otherwise un-repeatable so I never reported it. When I would close a file with unsaved changes, it would ask me if I wanted to save. When I clicked "yes", it would save the file and then crash. (I've since upgraded that machine from Win2K to Win7 and the problem is gone... Weird!!!)
