Reinstalled OS - Can No Longer Batch Process MP3

Post by jicama »

I've been a happy (and licensed) user of Goldwave for many years now. I have used Batch Processing to convert files from either wav or flac to mp3. I just re-installed my OS (Vista Home Premium), but MP3 is no longer an option as a file format when using Batch Processing. I can manually open a file in GW and save it as an MP3 (the lame_enc.dll is in the Goldwave program folder), but not via Batch Processing. What am I missing?

I even uninstalled Goldwave, removed any related files from the AppData folder(s) and the registry and then installed back down one step to 557 instead of 558 (I'm not sure I had upgraded to 558 before the re-install), but it still won't work via Batch Processing. Any clues?
