I was trying to save an audio file to which I had just added cue points. I was unable to save the file ans received this messages;
Invalid: Floating point Operation Adddress 0X008B94EB Module: Goldwave.
I was forced to cancel out and lose all the cue points I had set.
Floating Point Exception
Re: Floating Point Exception
If the error happens consistently with that file you could try this:
- make sure GoldWave is closed
- from the Windows "Start" button choose All Programs > GoldWave > GoldWave Setup
- in the GoldWave Setup Options dialog, put a check-mark in the box for "Ignore floating point errors"
- click the "OK" button and GoldWave should open
Then try saving the troublesome file again.

Re: Floating Point Exception
I had already lost the file, but I did make the changes in SETUP.
I seem to remember that it used to be a lot easier to change the Setup file - you could do it from GOLDWAVE without having to go into WIN 7
Thank you again for your help.
