Playback/Record Question.

Post by Atomic_Burrito »

Hey folks,

First off I cant seem to get Goldwave to playback more than one sound file. For instance I have a drum track and it plays fine on it's own also a guitar track which plays on it's own, but I cant seem to get them to play together at the same time. How can I get them to play at the same time?

Secondly, when recording a new track I cant hear the old ones so it makes it impossible to get the timings correct.

I have a crappy old Soundblaster PCI128 and I keep getting error messages about how Goldwave cant play the file back because my soundcard might not support the sample rate or plugin ect ect ect.

Might there be a nice soundcard out there I could get that could fix my problems?

Thanks for the help!

You'll need to use the Edit | Copy and Edit | Mix commands to mix the two files together. Click here for more information about simultaneous recording and playing.
