The Goldwave Ape plug-in 64 bit has not been released yet. And most of my audio files are in APE format !
I wrote to Monkey Audio to find about on their side, without any answer of course;
Has anybody in this forum some information ? Thanks

Re: APE files with GW 6.xx
Although the Monkey's Audio SDK was updated recently, it still does not include a 64 bit version of the DLL that GoldWave would need to add support (and the SDK is not set up for Embarcadero development tools to build the 64 bit version of the DLL).
I'd recommend converting all the APE files to FLAC. It is more widely supported, gives better compression ratios, and is faster. You can use the Batch Processing feature in GoldWave v5.70 (with the APE plug-in) to convert all the APE files to FLAC.

Re: APE files with GW 6.xx
yep, that is on of the two reason why i have gw 5.70 32bits and also the 6.x 64bits both installed on the system :
- need tu support for APE
- and gw5.70 manage to open/extract the sound (5.1 ac3) from a mkv file whereas 6.x can't.
