only left chanell ,golwave vu meter doesn't work ,is a bug?

Hi

i have noticed that i disable the left channel Edit ->channel -> the gold Vu Meter stops to work (green and red arrow)

is a bug?

goldwave 6.31 windows 7 and 10

in both screenshot goldwave was playing a song in flac , but i have tested with other audio files

The bottom window with the meter is the right channel. The top window showing the spectrum is the left channel. If you right-click the spectrum-window above the meter you can change it to Analog Meter too.

but it's weird , let's say i want to have a spectrum of whe whole entire audio loaded
i have to select on both specrtum ,right?

but can i have 1 with red & left ?
i can't have phase analisys to see how the sound goes to left or right or is more in the midle right?

I think the X-Y graph gives you the (relative) phase information, but as far as I know all of the other display modes are independent for left & right.

(I'm on a 32-bit computer right now so I'm running an older version of GoldWave.)

DougDbug is correct. Each visual corresponds to a specific channel (except in certain cases where both channels are required such as the X-Y Graph). There is currently no way to change a visual's channel.
