Win10_LTSB_3504-cannot determine format

Just updated my Windows 10 installation and suddenly Goldwave can not open mp3 files.
"cannot determine format"
Using Goldwave 6.47 and everything worked fine on Windows 10_1607_3204
Any idea what changed in the new version?

Well, for one thing, if you're referring to Goldwave, you're not using the new version.
I'm using Goldwave 6.51 in Windows 10, and mp3 files open and play just fine. Have you tried just reinstalling 6.47?

Tried with version 6.51 still no luck.
Have to use Audacity which works fine on both Windows versions.

Does your computer use an AMD CPU? Just curious.
