goldwave problem

i recorded my fender with this prog and everything is cool but when i edit the file i mean the whole recording and want to make few 5 seconds wawe i always get a click at the end of sample, and that is very annoying

does somebody has a solution or do i have to tra another prog

The selection may not end at a zero amplitude. A sudden transition to silence would cause a click. Try using the Offset effect to remove any offset in the waveform (scan then choose OK). Also try using the Volume | Shape effect with the "Faded ends" preset.

The Edit | Marker | Snap To Zero-Crossing setting may help as well.
