removing vocals, but using them

I was wondering if there is a plugin that allows you to remove the vocal and edit it (without music in the background) i know goldwave comes with a voice reducer, however I want to reduce the music and work with the vocals

The algorithm used to cancel out the vocals does not work on the music. There is no way to separate or subtract the music from the vocals (except in special cases). Bandpass filtering can be used to eliminate the bass and treble, but much of the music will still remain with the vocals.
