Trouble Importing MOV files with Audio intact

Post by stormchild »

I am brand new to this program and video editing. Please forgive me if this is a stupid question.

When importing an MOV file into the program, I am getting the error "Cannot open Audio in file".

Thanks for your patience and any help you can give me.

That is a known problem with the current version and will be fixed in the next update.

Hi, Chris! I've been a Goldwave customer for decades, and just purchased VideoMeld. I have a couple of things on my, ahem,
CHRISTMAS WISH-LIST 2013:

1. A PIG file for MPEG-2 files (*.MPG, *.MPEG, *.VOB)

2. "DVDMELD" (suggested title), a new app to compliment Goldwave and VideoMeld. This would be Goldwave Inc's DVD Authoring app. Suggested Features:
a. WISYWIG DVD menu editing interface, just like the old Roxio app
b. DVD region removal option

...how say you, Chris? are they doable? ;)

Best,

There are plans to support more file types in VideoMeld, though MPEG-2 decoding in Windows appears to be difficult for some reason.

DVD authoring probably isn't going to happen anytime in the near future.

Any plans to add this to mp4 output?
Also as a side note, I tried using the multichannel output on version 1.0 a few times, never seemed to work even when outputting as WMV. Worked fine when trying just now in version 1.10.
