NO SOUND - No Decoders for iPhone 6 Audio? (V1.53)

System Info:
Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 64bit.
Have made a few test videos with Video Meld this Summer, and purchased it today to create a promotional video for my Dad's business.
Worked for 2 hours, saving during process.

Re-open file and NO SOUND FROM THE VIDEO is showing up! (no audio for attached video tracks)
Error message says: "section IMG_xxxx could not be created! Original file may have been moved or deleted or decoders are missing." Nothing was moved or deleted. I thought I bombed my new project.

I opened a few saved Video Meld projects I put together with the evaluation version this Summer (also video/audio from my iPhone 6) and got the same error.
These all worked a couple months ago!

I even created a new file, really short video with sound from my iPhone 6, saved, and re-opened project file.
No audio tracks showing!

iPhone 6 video and audio used to work perfectly, but I bought the full version and now they don't.
Is there a decoder package or something I need to download? I really would like to get this project done. :(
VideoMeld tells me Decoders should be in:
C:\ProgramData\VideoMeld\Decoders

UPDATE: Ah, ProgramData is a hidden folder. Checked it, have 30 decoders for VideoMeld, why might Audio not be working and give me an error saying decoders might be missing?

I tried VideoMeld -> Options -> Configure Video Meld, deleted FFmpeg/Libdav folder path & clicked okay.
Then navigated to Configure Video Meld again, and clicked "Download" for FFmpeg/Libdav folder, it shows it downloaded, but audio still won't load.
**I also checked:
C:\ProgramFiles\VideoMeld has 2 folders "File" & "Help". Neither seem to have decoders.
Is there another way to download Decoders separately?

This summer Evaluation version worked great, I believe V1.52 or V1.51.

Any and all help is much appreciated!

UPDATE
Downloaded Evaluation Version on my brother's computer. (Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit)
1. Error message = "Section "IMG_xxx" cannot be found. Select New Folder?"
2. I clicked "Yes" & navigated to folder with source video files.
3. Loads Video, Audio Works and everything!
(There are no decoders in ProgramData folder on his computer, nor any decoders and it works fine)
**If you click "No" to select new folder it gives the error message I have on my machine. XXXXXXXXXX & doesn't load Audio.
My computer does not give me option to select a folder...
How can I get this to work on the full version on my computer?
Or could I also enter my license on his to do this project temporarily?

Still not working, and I really need to get this project done, anyone have suggestions?

It sounds like there are decoders missing (for audio attached to video tracks) from V1.53.
Is there a separate download needed from GoldWave/VideoMeld?

This summer Evaluation Version worked great, I believe V1.52 or V1.51.

Thank you for any help!

What version of Windows do you have? If you have Windows 10, audio should be working (just tested a few iPhone 6 videos and they worked fine in v1.53). FFmpeg is not required and it may be best to remove that folder from the configuration window. You can use the license on your brother's computer until the problem is resolved.

EDIT:
Something VERY strange is going on..
Tried some video capture tests on brother's PC, when opening the program from the shortcut on the desktop we have V1.53 (64bit) But when I open the program by double clicking the files themselves we are running V1.28 (32bit). It's the V1.28 that's allowing me to find the "missing" files when presented with the error, Files are missing/moved or decoders are missing. Then the Audio loads up and works fine. I downloaded evaluation version of 1.28 on MY PC and it works too!

What could be causing V 1.53 (64bit)to not allow me to locate said "missing files"? Just gives error and "OK" option. V1.28 asks if I could select folder. I click "Yes", find folder and it works.

Will upload screen capture videos so you can see what's going on.
EDIT 2: (Video Screen Captures of issues)
Video of audio loading (Brothers PC) but it's defaulting to 1.28 32bit version..

Video of Selecting "No" - no Audio (V1.28-32bit)

Video of Selecting "Cancel" - no Audio (V1.28-32bit)

Here's paid version - No Audio (backdated to V1.52, but same exact error and in-ability to select folder with raw files and no audio)

I downloaded V1.28-32bit evaluation version on my PC and it loads audio. I really don't understand why it's not finding the files as they were never moved/deleted/renamed or anything.
I also think it would render much faster if it were to actually work in the 64bit version. Any input GoldWave?
My PC is Windows 7 Professional 64bit.
Brothers is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
Thank you, will try license on his computer and see what happens!

I downloaded V 1.52 on my PC thinking it was something strange with the full version of 1.53 causing the Audio delay, but it gives me the same error as well. I think I could get around it if it allowed me to locate the folder with the raw video files, but it doesn't give me an option on my PC. Brothers with the evaluation version of 1.53 gives an option to locate raw footage folder (not sure why it can't find it on it's own as it's never been moved or anything) and it loads up fine.

The 32 bit version of VideoMeld is able to use the QuickTime decoders included with iTunes or the Apple QuickTime player to decode the audio on Windows 7 (Windows 7 alone doesn't include the required decoders). Unfortunately Apple does not provide 64 bit versions of the decoders. The 64 bit version of VideoMeld can't decode the audio using the 32 bit decoders, which causes the error. I believe only Windows 10 includes all the required 64 bit decoders.

EDIT:
I put my License into the 32bit version (v1.28) and was able to work on it (audio was loading in the 32bit version, as you said it has decoders). Kept crashing at I was nearing project completion. Now I have it all laid out, but am unable to render out, even tried 96kbps audio and 720 video and let it render for 3 hours, nothing. My system has plenty of resources (64bit Windows 7 Professional, AMD FX-4350 Quad Core 4.2GHz processor, 16GB of 1866MHz RAM) and VideoMeld is not using up all of any of it, yet it won't render.

Video is 11 video cuts (with audio captured @ time of recording) + 2 JPG stills (with secondary MP3 audio) totaling approximately 4m 10s. During Render process (where it stalls) VideoMeld uses approximately 1.168GB of RAM, Processor only runs about 5%-30%

Any input on how I could get this to render out? It mostly starts the rendering process, then the progress window goes black. I let it render for 3 hours thinking maybe it was still working but it never finished. (though if it can't load the progress window, I think that's a red flag it's not going to render, possibly due to capacity of the 32bit program?)
Or it gives an error and crashes completely.

Thank you!

So there is no way to work around and get iPhone 6 decoders with the 64bit version of VideoMeld on Windows 7?

Is there any possibility that the raw videos can be changed to a format (maybe in VideoMeld 32bit?) that may be workable in VideoMeld 64bit? I would love to see if the 64bit version has a faster render time.

I guess my next question would be, is V 1.28 the latest version of VideoMeld 32bit?
If I got the latest version of VideoMeld 32bit, could I enter my license and use the full version of the program to edit my iPhone 6 videos, and still have the V1.53 of VideoMeld 64bit for other videos?

Thank you.

You can add the video to v1.28 and then use "File | Meld Project To Video File" to save it as WMV or MP4, then open that in v1.53.

Much appreciated.
