M2TS Video Container

Post by iq66 »

System: win7x64, 16GB RAM. Latest VideoMeld evaluation version.
LAV-Filter & ffmpeg installed.
I'm work with a sony handycam with AVCHD HD resolution 1920x1080, 25fps producing files with a mt2s extention.
VideoMeld opens the file and audio, but the only thing to see is a still picture, no video, no audio.
I'm using Magix Moiesstudio Platium Suite 16 as standard editor, but have some issues with encoding HD 1920i with D 5.1.
That's why VideoMeld could be an alternative.

Question: How to set alternative encoders in Videomeld, but using libav folder C:\ProgramData\VideoMeld\Decoders?

Usually clicking the "Download" button under Options | Configure VideoMeld is enough to get VideoMeld to use libav. If that isn't working, there may be some other decoder that is wrongly detecting the file as an image. You'll need to find some way to disable or uninstall that decoder.
