Downloaded v1.65 - caused problem in existing files

Downloaded v1.65 - caused problem in existing files

Downloaded V1.65

Opened up an existing file.
The preview window showed the following problem:-

Okay, describing it, it looked like an error with one of the color filters, maybe where the luminosity had been overapplied, but I checked and it wasn't.
Ideally, I need to re-install the previous version I had, but I'm unsure what it was as I dont install a new version everytime it tells me there is one.

How would I go about finding out what that was?

Update:

(I should have said running Windows 10, 64 bit above, but it's not that relevant.)

I've found a download of V1.62. I've installed that. Now running without any problems.
