Video Split

Why when i split a video it lost somes frames, 5-10 frames, simply jump some frames. Why?? Please help-me.

If you are working with variable bitrate files (usually mpeg video), then exact editing and synchronization is almost impossible. Converting the entire video to a fixed/constant bitrate first, then editing that file tends to solve the problem.
