small files save as large files

If I add some video (eg, MJPG) to a multiquence file and save it as a video file the file is always much larger than the original. Am I missing something here?
When saving the file as video, try selecting a different "Video format". If you have an MPEG-4 or DivX encoder installed, selecting that should make the video much smaller. Selecting lower audio settings may help as well. Use the Options | Playback command to set a lower sampling rate.
