Good DirectX Reverb Plug-in?

Post by OKCBoy »

Anyone know of a good directX reverb plug-in that works with Multiquence?

I tried Anwida Soft DX ReverbLite and FreeverbX (both free). But can't get them to work with Multiquence.

If anyone's successfully using a directx plug-in reverb, I'd appreciate a note telling me what you're using.

Thanks, all.

Sorry, not a plug-in, and with Goldwave, not Multisequence, but it might work also.

I have a professionnal multi-effect processor with reverbs, echoes, chorus, leslie emulations and so, and I send the sound from the analog output of the computer to the effect, set with 100 % effect & 0 % source, I record back the result from the effect through the line input of the computer, and synchronize & mix the original & the reverb. Ususally this kind of devices have a wide amount of setting controls on each effects compared to the software's ones (type of room, delay, reverb time, size, damp, additional control of the tail, bass, treeble). With a monaural signal at the input, the reverb sounds stereo and very natural.
Just the price who may be high, if worth for me, not forcefully for you : 160 € + connecting cables.

It is a Behringer Virtualizer Pro DSP2024, other models may be cheaper, with more/less capabilities.

In the case if ever the suggestion could help.

Anwida Soft DX ReverbLite

I use Anwida Soft DX ReverbLite with Multiquence. The only issues are that you must use stereo files and that the overall length isn't adjusted to include the trails. What I will often do is make a "reverb only" track by adjusting the mix setting to full and save it under a different name in Goldwave, then mix it with the original in Multiquence.

I've been using mono vocal tracks. When I convert to stereo, it works great!!!
