feature request for goldwave?

Well not necessarily a feature request as the feature actually exist, so more like an algorithm request to use soundtouch for the stretching part instead of it's current algorithm. There are free-open sourced editors out there that's using soundtouch that outperforms professional editors such as adobe audition as far as audio quality's concerned, and plus it uses the same float system that goldwave currently use too. You can read more about it (and download) here. I'm sure the author will give you his permission to use it. If this gets added, then I can stop using these other free open-sourced editors for the stretching process. :P

Interesting. GoldWave's Similarity button under the Time Warp effect uses the same basic algorithm. However SoundTouch appears to have better quality. If I can find the time, it might be worth creating an open source plug-in for GoldWave and including it as an example the plug-in SDK.
