hi,
i notive Goldwave can't remember the last opened path where the file was.
it would a gain of time if it could automatiquely reopen the same path when the window dialog opens again....
have a great day.... and a happy new year, i wish goldwave and its main developer the best for 2018.
Mike
ps : what about the idea of creating a poll feature to choose/suggest/pay the next features of goldwave 2018 ?

You can try one of the other settings under Options | Storage.

my option is set on "use current file's folder (or last folder if no fiels opened) and it does not work.GoldWave Inc. wrote:You can try one of the other settings under Options | Storage.
from windows explorer, i select an .wav file to open it in Goldwave (to know i can maximize the volume). then i close it (without do anything) without close golgwave because i will use the batch tool to maximize the whole path. then in the batch tool, i click on "add files" button, and here is the "little bug", it did not remind the last path i used (the one where is the .wav file)

Do you have the latest version? It seems to be working correctly for me.

yep 6.31.
the classic "open" fiel feature remember the last path.
but not the "batch" one.
a exemple :
-in windows explorer, i have a folder full of wave file.
-i select one, and "send to" goldwave to check if the sound maximiz is possible.
-if yes, i close the file, then i click the batch button, then the open file button (on the right) and this one alaways forgets the last path i just open (maybe because i did not do anything saved)

I'll check into it. Using the "Send To" feature in Windows Explorer may bypass the folder setting.

not really, i also try to open a file from the menu feature.GoldWave Inc. wrote:I'll check into it. Using the "Send To" feature in Windows Explorer may bypass the folder setting.
i think the fact that i did not alter/saved the file in the same session, goldwave may not save the path.
or the add file feature from the batch processing ignores the last path in the same session.
