I assume you mean in series, 2 short-parts made into one longer song? Or do you mean you have one vocal-track, and guitar-track, and drums, etc. to be mixed together?

You may need to refer to the User Manual, but here are the basic steps -

1. Open all 3 files.

2. Select/highlight the 2nd one can click Copy.

3. Put the cursor at the end of the 1st file and click Paste. Alternatively, you can put the cursor near the end of the 1st file and click Mix to overlap the tracks. And/or you may wish to make a short (or long) fade-out & fade-in before mixing.

...Repeat for the 3rd track.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note that MP3 is lossy compression. When you open it in GoldWave (or any "normal" audio editor) it gets decompressed. If you re-save as MP3 you are going through another generation of lossy compression (and the "damage" does accumulate). You may not hear any quality loss, but it's something to be aware of and you should minimize the number of times your file is re-compressed.

mp3DirectCut (FREE!) can do some limited editing without decompressing/re-compressing.

Suggest you use Videomeld to edit these tracks. Open Videomeld, make two tracks (Shift+Insert) and place your individual music tracks in the right order in alternative Videomeld tracks. You can then arrange the joins by sliding each music track about to make the it sound right. Use the "F7" key to give you a volume gain graph. Might take a while for you to get your head around it but it works. Also it does not alter the original music at all. Save the result as a project or merge as a new audio track. I've been using this program since it was introduced and no complaints. You will have to register to get the full use rather than just a three minute melded track. You can play the complete project so you can hear the results.
Hope this makes sense!

If the files are all the same bitrate and you're not worried about volume equalization...then using something like mp3 direct-cut to merge them directly is a better option.

Much like MPEG video can be split up in to smaller sections...the same goes for MPEG Audio. You don't get sample precision editing...but it is possible to trim, cut, or even merge mp3 files together without recompression.

To simply join many files together, you can use Tool | File Merger.

Can't you read? There's a file merger function built into GoldWave. You don't need a separate program.
I don't want to read the manual either, but, then, it isn't my problem, is it?
