Problems with cue points (spliting file)

Post by mr5973 »

hello,

maybe someone can help me: i have a problem with setting cue points. I want to split a audio file into parts and therefore set cue points. so far, no problems.

the problem is that when i split the file, goldwave splits it not following the cue points (which are there, i can see them on the file!)...?

what could be the problem here?

as i said, the cue points are correctly set in the audio file (cause i can see them and when i check them and listen to the file, they are in the right position) but when i split the file, goldwave splits it in some other way...

thank you

michael

How many cue points do you have, and how many files are created? Do you have the "Overwrite" option check (which may be overwriting files if the same name is generated)?

i have around a dozen cuepoints.

and i didn't ceck the "overwriting existing files" or "discard cue point" options...

goldwave splits the file but not where it should split it...? it's always some seconds early or late.

Please contact us with the settings you are using. We may need a cue file as well.
