Quality gets bad when saving as video

Post by lorup »

I produce screen capture videos together with Audio using CAMTASIA Recorder (www.Techsmith.com). Multiquencer offers lots more userfriendly functions to alter the video clips, but when I save the edited file from Multiquencer via "File / Save as video" the clips audio quality dramatically decreases! I get lots of noise in it!

I am not sure, if Multiquencer uses the audio codec that I need (PCM uncompressed Audio with 22.050kHz; 16 bit; Mono). I miss the option to setup the audio codec ?!

Did I do anything wrong or do I miss some setup feature?

I might have been mistaken ...

adding to my previous posting on reduced audio quality I might have been wrong simply due to my own mistake. I choose 8bit instead of original 16bit, so the software HAD to reduce quality ...

Sorry for wasting your time folks ... 8)
