Merging audio files of live perforances
Hi. I noticed that when I merge a batch of files that make up a concert, after playing it back, I notice that each file that was merged, will put a teeny gap between each track. I am wondering if there is a way to merge concert audio files with GoldWave so that they will play seemlessly from one tra...

Re: Converting unsupported GoldWave files to .mp3 files
Hi. Thanks for the suggestions for TAudioConverter or Audacity. I tried TAudioConverter and it works great. I'm amazed at the speed the files are converted. It's mostly less than ten minutes or just about ten minutes. I tried to use TAudioConverter to convert a .ram file to an MP3 file. But I couldn...

Converting .mkv files to .mp3 files
Hi. Is it possible to convert .mkv Matroska video files to .mp3 audio files directly using GoldWave? I tried converting a bunch of .mkv files to .mp3 files using the Batch Processing feature and the files came out all staticky instead of having actual audio on them. Is there a way for GoldWave to co...

How to get a file back to its original frequency.
Hi. Back in the early 2010s, I was using GoldWave to brighten up certain files that had audio where the sound was not as bright as it could have been. For example, sometimes it was hard to tell if certain letters were S or F. So, I started using the Inverse Riaa Eq Curve feature in the Equalizer set...

Re: Removing unwanted sound from a file ripped from a casset
Hi.
I forgot to tell you that I have already tried using the Pop/Clicks feature to remove the popping sound heard in the file from the audio cassette. Unfortunately, the sound did not go away. Do you have any further solutions?
Please let me know. Thank you very much.

Hi. Actually, I should have told you this when I first posted the topic, but I am totally blind and use a screen reader to help me on my computer. I use it with gold wave. I only use the keyboard, not the mouse. I use key strokes, such as Alt+F for the File menu and Alt+E for the Edit menu and sofor...

Re: Creating one left channel file and one right channel fil
Hi. I would like a little more detail, please. The original files are mono, but they are from a stereo recording. For example, one file contains content from the left channel, and the other file contains content from the right channel. But they are both mono sound files. Could you please explain how...

Removing or Reducing Hum or static from files
Hi. Is it possible for me to completely remove or reduce to any extent the sounds of constant humming and/or static from audio files? The kind of hum I am talking about refers to files that have a high or low pitch tone heard underneath the main audio of the file. Also, can I remove or reduce static...

Re: Making several files as one
Hi. I found a way to do it. What I did was: Press AltT to go to the Tools Menu. Then I pressed M for Merge Files and was presented with a window in which one of the buttons was Add Files. I tried adding several files to one file and it combined them all as one. Thanks for suggesting help. Rob Bendtzen

Making several files as one
Hi.
I am trying to make several files as one. Is there a way to do that with GoldWave? If so, could you please outline the steps?
Please note that I am blind and use the keyboard, not the mouse. So, please outline the steps for this task when using the keyboard. Thank you very much.
