Re: Bug Report: 6.43. Change theme, scroll zoom stops working.
Me again, after checking my three machines, I just discovered that the scroll lock stops working only when you select "Tabs" in the "Windows Options Menu". Hope this is helpful to you all. Cheers.

Re: Bug Report: 6.43. Change theme, scroll zoom stops working.
More info. I had to reinstall Windows on one of my laptops and when I re-installed Goldwave, the mousewheel scroll function worked. I changed the theme to the one I prefer, and the scroll still worked. Next, went to " Windows options " and checked "Sound windows tabs", "Alwa...

Re: Bug Report: 6.43. Change theme, scroll zoom stops working.
Same thing here. I use "charcoal dark smoke" as the theme on two laptpos and my main PC. Main PC Win 10 pro. Both laptops Win 10. (one laptop is nearly 9 years old). I installed the last two updates on all three machines. Same thing on all three. It does not worry me too much because it's ...

Re: Trying to Record from This Site
Works OK for me. F11 settings are "Stereo mix Realtek HD audio" - "Rec. volume +6dB" - "Quality 49000/2/32 shared" Opened new file, "stereo 4800". Started recording and Switched windows to the website and played the music. Make sure that all the sample rates m...

Re: Creating Default Settings for Save As
Try going to the " options " drop down menu and select the "file formats" option and you can set what you want there. You can also have a look at drop down menu " windows options " and in the miscellaneous section make sure that you have the "update default preset&...

Re: Recording Device Mono Selection
Nor me either, but you just record both L and R as a normal stereo signal, then uncheck the unwanted channel (the green check box on the left). Copy the other channel and paste into a new window which will be mono. Easy - just two shortcut keystrokes. Ctrl+C and then Ctrl+P.

Re: Cue Triangle Missing
Same thing here BUT if I open a file which already has cues in it, the triangles show up. If I insert a new cue, guess what - No triangle. Another bug is that I cannot use the mousewheel to expand the display either. Have gone back to the previous install and all OK again.

Re: Is there a way to reduce playback speed?
If the video transitions are at a fixed rate, you might be able to use Goldwave's speed change function. Make a copy of the audio and make the change and then replace the audio in your project. It might take some time to get this right though. You could also try splitting the video and adjusting the...

Re: removing button from control tool bar.
Go to the options drop down menu and click on "toolbar". You will see the toolbar options menu open. you can add or remove whatever buttons you like. You can also move them around so they are positioned to suit your preferences. When you are finished just click OK.

Re: glitch effect
You could try this - Open a new Videomeld project with four tracks. Open your file and then split it where you want the glitch. Select the split half and drag it into the other track or tracks. You can move the split half relative to the first half and you should be able to make a glitch effect like...

Re: search for audio in a larger file
Probably the best way is to listen to the file and insert cue markers as you go. That way you will be sure to select the various sections correctly. You can use keyboard shortcuts to speed the audio up which will cut the time it takes to go through it. SHIFT+L will speed it up and SHIFT+K will bring...

Re: Request: video preview window, color correction
I have two screens on my PC and put the video preview on the second screen and you can make it as big as you want. You can also do colour corrections. You will see a little star in the left hand corner of the file. Click on this and the effects window opens. Click on the " + " symbol and a...

Re: Bug when opening project with relocated files?
If you look for these files with Videomeld, it will remember where the relocated files are which is good when you save the project! So there is really no need to use Windows explorer. Slightly off topic, I need to store projects on a laptop so what I do is to keep the Videomeld exe and all the files...

Re: Volume Question
A much better way it to do this is to download Videomeld and put the music in one track and the dialog in another. If you hit the F7 key you will see a blue line appear on each track. This is a "fade" line. Click on it where you want to start the fade and another one where you want to fade...
