Re: Gratitude for years of Goldwave use

"je plussois" (french).

even if my register date is 6years old, i'm pretty sure i was using goldwave at least 5years more in trial/shareware version before i could purchase it.

Re: id3 track field is erased for WAV format

From dbpoweramp's documentation: Wave files can store limited (choice of fields) ID Tags in a Wave LIST chunk, or a full range id ID Tags in an 'id3 ' chunk (which is an id3v2 tag). By default both types of tags are written for maximum compatibility. Not all programs can read these chunks. Also...y...

Re: id3 track field is erased for WAV format

Try using File | Information in GoldWave to see if the track is there. If not, try entering the track and save the file to see if it is retained. DBpowerAMP may be storing the information differently. As DewDude420 mentioned, the Wave format is limited in terms of metadata. goldwave did not see the...

id3 track field is erased for WAV format

hi,
i use the 6.31 release.
i notice that every time i edit a WAV file (i created from a CD convert using DBpowerAMP), goldwave erases the field TRACK info! only that field, the other fields from the id3 tag remain well !

strange bug !
it does not append with FLAC format.

have a good day

Re: esy feature resquest : remember last opened path

I'll check into it. Using the "Send To" feature in Windows Explorer may bypass the folder setting. not really, i also try to open a file from the menu feature. i think the fact that i did not alter/saved the file in the same session, goldwave may not save the path. or the add file feature from the ...

Re: esy feature resquest : remember last opened path

You can try one of the other settings under Options | Storage . my option is set on "use current file's folder (or last folder if no fiels opened) and it does not work. from windows explorer, i select an .wav file to open it in Goldwave (to know i can maximize the volume). then i close it (without ...

esy feature resquest : remember last opened path

hi, i notive Goldwave can't remember the last opened path where the file was. it would a gain of time if it could automatiquely reopen the same path when the window dialog opens again.... have a great day.... and a happy new year, i wish goldwave and its main developer the best for 2018. Re: is there a way to select a cue part by keyboard or 1clic

i stil lthink a single click on a little icone above the graph would be the better solution (and visible too). just under the tool bar and above the graph, there is a unexploited area to place icone or clickable controls between cues points. Even, the cue names or numbers of track could be written t...

Re: is there a way to select a cue part by keyboard or 1clic

in fact my curiosity pushed me to right-click in the zone between the 2 triangles cue, and there is a option to "select between the cues",

so now, i have only 2 clicks which is pretty good !

is there a way to select a cue part by keyboard or 1click ?

hi, i often need to work work on a cue part (a track among an entire album). the operation to select a track is very full of "clicks" : 4 clicks. i see the select beeween clue but the first one (first cue) is hard to catch because of the screen border. is there a double click somewhere (under the gr...
