Re: Cue Triangle Missing
Same thing here BUT if I open a file which already has cues in it, the triangles show up. If I insert a new cue, guess what - No triangle. Another bug is that I cannot use the mousewheel to expand the display either. Have gone back to the previous install and all OK again.

Re: Is there a way to reduce playback speed?
If the video transitions are at a fixed rate, you might be able to use Goldwave's speed change function. Make a copy of the audio and make the change and then replace the audio in your project. It might take some time to get this right though. You could also try splitting the video and adjusting the...

Re: removing button from control tool bar.
Go to the options drop down menu and click on "toolbar". You will see the toolbar options menu open. you can add or remove whatever buttons you like. You can also move them around so they are positioned to suit your preferences. When you are finished just click OK.

Re: glitch effect
You could try this - Open a new Videomeld project with four tracks. Open your file and then split it where you want the glitch. Select the split half and drag it into the other track or tracks. You can move the split half relative to the first half and you should be able to make a glitch effect like...

Re: search for audio in a larger file
Probably the best way is to listen to the file and insert cue markers as you go. That way you will be sure to select the various sections correctly. You can use keyboard shortcuts to speed the audio up which will cut the time it takes to go through it. SHIFT+L will speed it up and SHIFT+K will bring...

Yes, you can choose nearly any keyboard command you like. Go to "Options" and in the drop down window, select "Keyboard". scroll down the list until you come to "NavigationToggle Play 1". Type "space" in the "keystroke" column and then OK. It would b...

Re: Request: video preview window, color correction
I have two screens on my PC and put the video preview on the second screen and you can make it as big as you want. You can also do colour corrections. You will see a little star in the left hand corner of the file. Click on this and the effects window opens. Click on the " + " symbol and a...

Re: Bug when opening project with relocated files?
If you look for these files with Videomeld, it will remember where the relocated files are which is good when you save the project! So there is really no need to use Windows explorer. Slightly off topic, I need to store projects on a laptop so what I do is to keep the Videomeld exe and all the files...

Re: Volume Question
A much better way it to do this is to download Videomeld and put the music in one track and the dialog in another. If you hit the F7 key you will see a blue line appear on each track. This is a "fade" line. Click on it where you want to start the fade and another one where you want to fade...

Re: Cross fading video does not work
You should be able to crossfade OK. Open the first video (which might use two tracks, audio and video). Make another two tracks using (Shift+Insert) twice. Put the other video in these new tracks. Both pairs of tracks should be linked. Now move one video so that it overlaps the other. Press the F7 k...

Re: Recording maxes out at half volume
You can purchase external usb sound cards at a reasonable price, a local music dealer has them in stock rather than going the Hi Fi path and spending a fortune! The Tigertronics signal link ham radio device can be modified to do what you want, but only if you are a tech geek and are really stuck. I ...

Re: Recording maxes out at half volume
Looks like your mixer has an onboard USB soundcard. If it has, plug it into the laptop USB port and in the Goldwave "F11" drop down menu and then in the "RECORD" section, select the "usb audio codec" option. You should be able to use this to play and record. When you wa...

Your comments are not needed and I one hundred percent agree with Chris, No one is perfect and to be honest having to update twice in three days is no big deal. I make this statement as an eighty year old user. I have made mistakes in the past and always make allowances for other peoples error. Now ...

Re: How to remove Effects toolbar?
Some effect shortcuts can be made using keystrokes like ""ctrl+c" for copying. Go to "Options" and select "Keyboard" and go down the list and see if there is an entry for the effect you want. If there is, choose what keyboard shortcut you want and click "OK&qu...
