Safari defects persist
Problems in Safari continue to harm the performance of GoldWave Infinity on Apple devices. The lack of support for SharedArrayBuffer prevented app from from running at all just a few years ago. [fixed] A major audio defect in a recent version of Safari prevented the use of AudioWorklets, requiring a...

GoldWave Infinity Link
GoldWave Infinity is a challenging project to say the least. Taking a Window application and recreating it as a web page (or a PWA ) creates many obstacles that do not exist in traditional application development. Networking is one of those things, as discovered when creating the GoldWave Link featu...

Re: Batch processing problem.
Depending on the Batch settings used, some files could end up larger than the originals. For example if a large audio book is in the batch, it may have a low bitrate originally, but end up getting converted to a higher bitrate, taking more space. Also try using Windows Disk Cleanup to remove unneces...

Re: Buck in VideoMeld 1.71 no audiotrack
We are working on that problem. If you are using drag-and-drop, try using Track | Add Video and Track | Add Audio instead. If those do not work, what file types are not working?

Re: Hangs while adding cue points
We are not able to duplicate that problem. Are you using a development version of Windows? What display adapter is in your computer?
If you open the Windows Resource Monitor before opening GoldWave, do the resources get used while GoldWave is running?

Re: No sound when using Behringer device
The link above should take you to the GoldWave FAQ, where it describes the steps to feed the recorded input to the playback device. It is a Windows driver setting (not related to GoldWave), so should work for most devices. Sometimes web browsers don't land on the exact anchor link when loading a pag...

Re: Installing Golcwave in Linux?
You should be able to install GoldWave in any folder. You can change the default.
Or just unzip the download to a new folder and use the files directly.

Re: Feature Request: Find Audio Snippet in Files (Batch)
That is surprisingly difficult to do. Different compression algorithms, sampling rates, noise levels, etc. deform the audio in a multitude of complex ways so that it is no longer identical.

Re: Recording over silence gives severe distortion
Distortions typically occur when the sound driver records at the wrong sampling rate or report sthe wrong sampling rate to GoldWave. If you are trying to record directly into a file with a 44100Hz rate, but the sound driver uses 48000Hz (even though GoldWave tells it to use 44100Hz), then that cause...

Re: No sound when using Behringer device
For others with a similar problem, this may help. Essentially you need to make Windows feed the recorded input to the current playback device.
