Hello Eric.

It's probably a Fraunhofer codec....check to see what Windows Media Player is using to encode to mp3 (look in WMP's Options), & that's probably what GW is using.

SUPER is aptly named, but watch out for its attempts to access your network & the internet without asking. I crippled its "reaching out" via my firewall. Other than that little downside, the program works very well.

Do you have a sound card as well as motherboard sound? Is the selected device in Windows set to your motherboard sound system? One more thing: look in the Windows volume controls, go to Properties/Recording Controls, & make sure all the possible sources are selected for display. Let us know what...
